We are all addicted in a thousand ways - to a  substance, behavior, or way of thinking. Carolyn Myss has stated that "most people hold together the very fiber of life through a complex of addictive patterns."

We hold ourselves in these old, painful patterns that constrict us from feeling expanded and alive ...  connected to ourselves and others in the ways we need to be to rest in a space of wholeness and possibility.  Feelings of stress, craziness and a loss of control have long taken over our dreams and our deepest sense of who we are meant to be.  I can assure you, those dreams are still there and can be recovered ... by letting go of the layers of fear, grief, disappointments and negative ways of coping we've buried them under, by allowing the deep wounds and traumas of the past to be released.  "Recovery" isn't just about recovering from our personal or cultural addictions, it's recovering the splintered aspects of self that created them in the first place.

If we can learn to accept what we're feeling without judgment, we slowly begin to surrender to a deeper trust in our own sanity and wisdom.  As old wounds are allowed to surface, emotions can be expressed and released ... and we begin not only to heal, but to live authentically.

What is mindfulness?

“Mindfulness” is based on meditation practices, and teaches us to step back and observe the "monkey mind" -  the chatter and endless drama of thought and emotion that we get caught up in - with a certain kindness and detachment.  It teaches us to be fully present in the Moment, to be awake and alert to our motives and behaviors; to learn the spacious, luminous, deepening quality of simple awareness. This process softens our relationship to the craziness we seek so desperately not to feel, and it loosens its grip.  What begins to emerge is your True Self,  ... a body, mind & spirit balanced in strength and gentle presence.

This work is about accessing the warrior within, and a conscious decision to live in freedom and dignity.

So .... are you ready??
